Mundane Musings

In recent months I’ve taken to limiting my social media and general online presence to just a handful of places – for reasons of mental health primarily but also other reasons – and yet sometimes I still find myself wanting to tweet (I refuse to call it X) or post something and there’s not really a way to do that outside of social media. So here I am taking to a new blog I’m calling Mundane Musings. Not very original, I know, but the point is to encourage myself to write something everyday, even if it’s as mundane as complaining about the sporadic traffic/construction going on at Chester Ave that has been driving me absolutely bonkers for months. I have no expectations or illusions about reaching an audience or receiving engagement from anyone who happens to read this. I just need to get shit off my chest sometimes. So here it is, my Mundane Musings.

It’d be so great if I could write at least 500 words a day, but I’m not going to hold my breath waiting for that to happen because then I’ll never post again. Probably.
