RIP James Van Der Beek

Like many millennials, I spent a good chunk of my adolescence watching The WB (known today as The CW), and that of course included watching every season of Dawson’s Creek. So naturally it came as a sad shock today when the news dropped that millennial icon James Van Der Beek died of colorectal cancer at the age of 48. It feels surreal almost, like a classmate dying (which unfortunately I’ve experienced).

Rest in peace. Fuck cancer.
