Links
MILLENNIAL HISTORY: If you aren’t a geriatric millennial you might not remember that back in the days of having personal websites before the word “blog” was used, we would have a Links page where you’d literally list the links to other sites you liked. It was a popular thing to trade links with other websites (not just links but the cutest buttons too) because that was how you “surfed” the web. Google didn’t exist in the way we know it now. It was a completely different version of the internet than what we know it today. Long before social media, we found websites via community.
The following links aren’t social links or linktrees, they are websites or blogs designed by people (or blogging platforms). No logging in with your social account, no reposting or hashtags, just good old fashion web content that was lovingly put together by someone who wants you to see it not for the purpose of harvesting your data, but to enjoy it for what it is. These are the sites that I love and think you’ll love, too! Links open in new tabs.
